In addition to seeing the amazing carved Jack-O-Lanterns, families coming to the museum will be taken on a Halloween Storytelling Trail to be told the Tall Betsy Story, as well as other Halloween stories suitable for families. The stories will be told by members of the Cleveland Storytelling Guild.</p> <p>Also on view in the Museum’s lobby will be the original Tall Betsy’s authentic dress and original persimmon cane on loan for the day by Allan Jones who was able to “secure” these valuable and historic items back in the 1980s. Beginning at 10am there will be a parade to the Courthouse featuring floats, decorated cars, bands, etc. Upon arriving at the courthouse the Alumni Band will perform selected patriotic songs to pay tribute to our country's freedom as the American Flag is raised.</font></p> <p><font size="3">There will be food vendors with a good variety of delicious treats . . . homemade lemonade, funnel cakes, hamburgers, hot dogs, corn dogs, ice cream, etc. The whole family will want to join in the activities, music, and games that will be available. </font></p> <p><font size="3">Starting at dusk (approximately 8pm), the Street Dance begins. There will be live music to swing your partner to. The dancing will be interrupted for a spectacular fireworks display.
