B'Nai Zion Cemetery
Lullwater Road
Red Bank, TN
423-899-8900

When the Mizpah Congregation Cemetery ceased allowing the interment of non-Mizpah members in their Third Street cemetery in 1890, the Conservative Jewish congregation in Chattanooga , B’nai Zion, elected to form its own burial ground. Situated on a hillside in North Chattanooga, B’nai Zion Cemetery is a well-maintained and picturesque resting place for generations of Chattanooga ’s Jewish citizens. Enclosed by a stone wall and an iron gate, and lined with stately boxwoods, B’nai Zion Cemetery maintains, at once, a classically Southern feel and a distinct Jewish character.

Directions: From downtown Chattanooga take Highway 27 North to the Red Bank/Dayton Blvd Exit. Exit right and go one block past Signal Mountain Blvd to Hedgewood Drive. Turn left on to Hedgewood Drive and travel 8/10 mile to Lullwater Road. The cemetery lies on a hill at the intersection of Lullwater and Hedgewood.
