Fishing in Bledsoe County

Sequatchie River
- Type II The portion of the Sequatchie River flowing through Bledsoe County is stocked with rainbow trout each spring. It also contains a good portion of smallmouth bass and panfish.

Fall Creek Falls Lake - Type I Although a small lake by Tennessee standards, Fall Creek Falls Lake is a great fishery for largemouth bass, bluegill, shellcracker and catfish. It is noted for its big panfish. Boat fishing is restricted to rental boats, available at the marina. The lake shares the state record for bluegill. It also holds the state record for channel catfish which are stocked each fall.
