This is a short walk, under 2 miles, and anything but a typical hike. The pathway allows hikers to take an up-close look at the unusual geology of Lookout Mountain and enjoy a waterfall to boot. The trail begins as a slightly downhill affair that is wide enough for a family hike and continues through the eroded passages of the mountain until approaching the falls.

Hours: Sunrise to Sunset

Directions: Take Ochs Highway up Lookout Mountain. After Sanders Road comes in from the right, pull off to the left. Or park at the picnic area on Sanders Road, adding another 2 miles to the hike.
