The Southern Division of Bowaters, Inc., a company that owns more than 350,000 acres of timberlands in Tennessee, began establishing pocket wilderness areas within its holdings in 1970. Areas located in: Bledsoe, Bradley, Grundy, Hamilton, Marion, McMinn, Meigs, Polk, Rhea and Sequatchie Counties. Special permits required.
