Hidden Gem Ranch is a family-run farm raising alpacas in the beautiful mountains of southeast Tennessee.
Alpacas are kept for their fleece, showing, breeding, 4-H, and they also make wonderful pets. Their fleece is known as one of the most luxurious fibers in the world. It is stronger and warmer than wool and softer than cashmere. Much smaller than their cousin, the llama, alpacas are gentle, quiet and graceful.
Visitors are encouraged to come and learn about a wonderful lifestyle we’ve found by living with alpacas. Bring the kids, our animals are friendly and love to eat treats out of your hand. There is no charge but please call ahead.
Alpaca fleece is available for sale seasonally while supplies last.

Directions: From I-24 take Exit 127 Pelham/Decherd Hwy 50. Turn east onto Hwy 50 toward Pelham. Go 11 miles through Pelham and up the mountain. Turn right on Hwy 108 toward Coalmont. Go 7 miles to Hwy 56. Turn left at light. Take 1st left onto Industrial Park Rd. (Just past Exxon station/hardware store). We are .4 mile on right.
