What's Happening NOW at Crabtree Farms?...
Adopt-A-Box Program - Farm Fresh From Chattanooga!

Crabtree Farms is pleased to announce the first week of our Community Supported Agriculture Program, or CSA. A CSA enables the community to directly support local farms and sustain a local food supply. Crabtree Farms has created a new fund, called Adopt-A-Box, for 2 special organizations. Through the Adopt-A-Box funds, produce will be donated weekly to childrens programs through these partners in the community.

Crabtree Farms CSA program provides access to organic, local, healthy food! Recipients will get quality USDA certified organic produce through weekly portions of the bountiful harvest from Crabtree's Urban Farm produce grown right here in Chattanooga! The CSA season lasts 29 weeks, beginning May 5 and lasting through November 10. Each weekly box will be filled with 10 to 12 different varieties of crops according to availability.

Help us nourish the community by contributing to the Adopt-A-Box charitable fund. We have raised enough funds to provide one box to each of the following children's programs for the entire 29 weeks. Northside Neighborhood House serves 30 children at all times in their after school and summer program. The Bethlehem Center serves 75 children during the school year and 150 during hte summer. We need to raise $1,600 more to provide at least 2 boxes to these programs every week through November. Please help us help these children's programs by donating today!

To contribute to the Adopt-A-Box program, or for more information, contact Sarah Malone by phone, (423) 493-9155, or by e-mail, smalone@crabtreefarms.org.
