Scenic City Fishing Charters is owned and operated by Richard Simms in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He fishes primarily Chickamauga and Nickajack Lakes on the Tennessee River, often within the Chattanooga city limits within sight of the famous Tennessee Aquarium. He'll fish for virtually any species you're interested in. Of course the best fishing for many species is "seasonal." He'll let you know quickly what fish he's "on," and what fish he's not "on." Simms says, "The most important thing to me is for people to have fun and catch fish. If they want to fish for something that's not biting, I'm not going to take their money."

For now Half-Day (4 hours) and Full-Day (8 hours) Trips are only available on weekends. You can do morning or evening "Quick Trips" (2 hours) on weekdays. A Full-Day for two anglers is $250, a Half-Day is $175 and Quick Trips are $90. During the peak season weekends often stay booked at least a month in advance, often more, but he says, "Don't ever hesitate to call spur of the moment. I keep a waiting list in the event of cancellations."
